I agree to all of these reasons! I believe there’s a sea change in how we consume and experience our media—a re-appreciation/re-evaluation for the physical and tangible. It harkens back to the slower pace of life that we all seem to yearn for (even those that didn’t grow up with it).

Yes! I've seen a (very slow) wave building of people wanting to experience Real Things as opposed to abstract, virtual things. When I decided to start buying physical media again, I poked around a little to see if there was anyone buying cassettes anymore. And, there's a very small sub-subculture of people who are buying cassettes again because of that tactile experience of pressing buttons and having to flip the tape over to hear the other side.

I get it. I just remember tapes getting chewed up in the player. I have no interest in going back to that ;) I'm happy with the balance CDs give me. And, I've also converted a vew of the vinyls we have to FLAC so I can listen to them on the go.
